Updated March, 2023

We still have 10 AM Sunday “holy distanced worship” streaming live on Facebook, our community and Amesbury have emerged for more and more activities, including in-person worship services. Safe in-person ministry has been possible again. You are very welcome to join us for in-person worship.

Again, worship services are streamed on Facebook live every Sunday with music starting at 9:50 a.m. You do not need a Facebook page to join in. On Fridays our church email blast will provide the worship bulletin, and Facebook link to the live stream for Sunday service. The Facebook live stream link is the same link each week. If you need help connecting to these options or have other questions, please reach out to Rev. Joan or the church office so we may help. If you would like to receive emails from Main Street Church, please contact us by emailing office@main-street-church.org and we will add you to the mailing list.

Worship Service Information [Prior to the Pandemic]

Worship takes place on Sundays beginning at 10:00 am. There is a 15 minute musical reflection and meditation time beginning at 9:45 am before the service.

You are warmly invited to worship with us. Here we hope you will find a place to connect to God’s way of love, peace and justice and with others who want to be part of a community of hope and action. Join us any Sunday at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome for worship. Our Sunday School kids start each Sunday in the sanctuary with the whole congregation and then head to Sunday school when it is in session. Children of All ages are welcome and loved in worship. There are activity bags available at the entrance to the church, please help yourself. We realize that some kids get itchy in the pews – there is a small play area in the back corner of the church with a place to walk, read, play. Please let us know if there are other ways we can be supportive for your family being at worship.

There are knitting projects in the back of the sanctuary for anyone who likes to keep their hands busy during worship.

We share communion on the 1st Sunday of the month. All are welcome at the MSCC communion table. If you are new to communion service or would like more information on the purpose you can contact our Pastor Joan MacPherson at joan.macpherson@main-street-church.org.
